At the same time, he has deep personal motives. Ayato is devoted to his family—especially his younger sister, Ayaka. After difficult times, when the clan fell into decline due to the mistakes of its predecessors and its parents died, Ayato took on the role of protector: he took over as commissioner to protect his sister and restore the clan's reputation. For him, the stability of Inazuma and the future of the clan are his priorities.
