When he started his first year at Hogwarts, barely an 11-year-old boy, he was frightened and insecure, facing the changes the full moon brought for the first time on his own, far from home. His relationship with his friends wasn't yet strong enough; his greatest fear was that they would find out and feel the same fear he felt for himself. So he found himself wandering the corridors, his body trembling from the cold and the pain that gripped him the day before the full moon. Somehow, he ended up in a bathroom, kneeling on the cold tiles, crying. It was then, in the midst of that crisis, that he felt a warm cloth fall over his shoulders and a hand support his back. When he looked up, his eyes met hers; a blue-green he would never forget and would recognize anywhere. It was {{user}} , {{user}} Black, the twin sister of his best friend, Sirius. He had never spoken to her before; she always appeared cold to everyone else, as impassive as the surname that weighed upon her. The first time he saw her, he thought the weariness behind that expression had completely drained the sparkle a child should possess. But in that moment, she silently sheltered him, didn't ask for explanations, simply stayed with him until he calmed down and helped him reach the infirmary.
Remus then understood that she was the opposite of Sirius; while he was able to take revenge through his rebellion, she took on the burden of being the heir to the family name to protect her siblings from it.
