The Last Waffenträger

These are mostly modified Soviet T-55 (T-55 Thunderbolt) medium tanks, specifically designed for the battle with Max von Krieger and Ermelinde Jung.

This tank, called the Hound, is a modified and extensively upgraded T-55 tank. It utilizes electromagnetic technology, commonly referred to as projectile boosters, in its cannon barrel to enhance its firepower. These are activated by a fuselage-mounted Impulse-1 battery.

Strengths: Accurate 100mm cannon specifically modified to combat Waffenträger and EOS-1, good mobility, low profile, powerful engine, good acceleration, excellent armor penetration, but useless when the Waffenträger and EOS-1's shield is activated.

Weaknesses: Possible fire if hit in the side by an enemy shell, weak hull armor, poor gun elevation angles, especially when tilted downwards (only -5 degrees), possible ammunition explosion, slow reverse speed, low survivability overall....

Famous participants: Christian Laudorf - "a retired tank ace and now a physics professor, invited from headquarters by former comrades from the battlefield to join the Borzykh brigade. Now the success of the entire operation rests on his shoulders, a fact that command constantly reminds him of."

Viktor Safronov is the chief engineer of the special military unit 1138, assigned by the command to “field test” the equipment.

Ralph Saldern is one of the expedition's best engineers. He can easily get even the biggest scrap metal back into operation, but it's better to prevent breakdowns than to fix them.

Oleg Gradovsky is a military translator and former special forces soldier whose intuition and learned caution repeatedly helped the entire crew avoid problems during the operation.

The Alliance is an international/supranational military alliance with its own separate organizational structure, de facto an independent organization. It was created after the war, most likely in 1946. The Alliance includes representatives of major (and several smaller) states: Great Britain, the USSR, the USA, France, China, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Poland, and Czechoslovakia.

After the war, the alliance searched for fugitive war criminals. It noted enemy submarine activity in the South Atlantic.

In 1946, the Alliance conducts Operation Needle (Season IV) in the Antarctic region of Queen Maud Land. This is a search and rescue operation, and Colonel Barnes, who was aboard the HMS Arkham at the time, serves as the Combined Forces Commander. The operation is triggered by the disappearance of a reconnaissance aircraft. Six days after this operation, Operation Ghost is carried out in Argentina, in the Monte Desert (Season V). The goal of the operation is to find uranium mines and secret laboratories. During it, the Alliance discovers a secret German outpost, which, however, self-destructs before it can be infiltrated. Before its destruction, a plane leaves the outpost, which the Alliance also fails to intercept, but the purpose of its journey directs the organization to the next target of the Antarctic mission - Ellsworth Land (Season VI). Reconnaissance platoons are dispatched there. The outcome of the operation is unknown.

In 1948, the Alliance organized Project Steel Hunter, and a man identified as Burdock, who most likely represented the Alliance, recruited participants for the project. The project continued for many years into the 1950s. Other organizations discovered traces of its activities. The full objectives of the project remain unknown.

In 1958, ten years after the events of Project Steel Hunter, the Alliance is pursuing its former member Max von Hoffman, then known as Max von Krieger.

The Eos 1 is Ermelinde von Krieger's main battle tank. This tank is a modified Leopard 1.

Here's the von Krieger family's latest death machine: the Eos 1. Based on the Leopard 1, it's the result of Ermelinda's efforts to mitigate the Blitzträger's weaknesses and create the perfect support unit. Since a reliable companion can't have the same weaknesses, the Eos 1 was designed to be independent of generators. However, this deprived the vehicle of shield protection or the destructive power of Gungnir.

Strengths: Top speed 60+ km/h, accurate 105mm experimental electric cannon, small silhouette, stabilization

Weaknesses: weak armor, weak shield, possible overheating due to frequent shooting and prolonged use of the shield under the load of enemy shots...

Max von Krieger's daughter. A talented robotics engineer, she was one of the first to successfully integrate artificial intelligence into a heavy vehicle's control system. She does everything possible to ensure her father's secrets and inventions do not fall into the hands of the Combine.

She followed in her evil father's footsteps, taking on the von Krieger family's terrible legacy. An exceptional scientist, she unfortunately used her skills to create a last-minute weapon—Hyperion—which, if left unchecked, could change the very foundations of warfare and reduce entire nations to dust.

Ermelinda is highly intelligent, impulsive, adventurous, and sarcastic, assertive, and also has poor self-control. Her specialty is robotics, defense systems, and planning (she holds a degree, but it's unknown from which university—possibly the Technical University of Munich, like her father). She has a very strong relationship with her biological father, Maximilian von Krieger. She admits to being capricious and willful, although her caring father tries to instill restraint in her. She prefers working in the workshop and wearing technician's overalls over feminine activities and clothing. She understands that her analytical skills are not as advanced as her technical ones.

He considers his father a noble soul, a brilliant genius, misunderstood and underappreciated, but also too idealistic. She is very concerned about living up to his expectations and being valued by him.

Armament: 128mm electro-hybrid cannon (4-round drum with a 1.0-second interval between shots. A full reload takes 23 seconds) firing special electric projectiles that disable and destroy enemy Alliance tanks (or "Hounds").

Armor: Relatively very weak, but all this is protected by an electro-plasma shield.

Strengths: Devastating firepower, electric plasma shield, good vision, high damage, teleportation

Weaknesses: Low speed, large size, if the "Hounds" can disable the shields, the tank becomes extremely vulnerable and easier to destroy...

Max von Krieger is the archetype of the mad scientist: highly intelligent, extremely arrogant, and possessing a dangerous gift of foresight. He believes that traditional morality, military structure, and politics are obsolete, and that only his extraordinary intellect and inventions can lead the world into the future. His calm demeanor often conceals ruthlessness. He feels no remorse for the destruction he causes and views resistance as proof of others' ignorance. Max often refers to himself as the only one "who sees the whole picture," demonstrating his belief in his own intellectual superiority.

Max von Krieger was once one of the Alliance's most brilliant minds, developing revolutionary electromagnetic technologies. However, as his ideas grew increasingly radical and dangerous, the Alliance discredited him and expelled him from its ranks. Instead of retreating, Max turned against his former employers and went into hiding to create his masterpiece: the Waffenträger auf E 110, a next-generation combat vehicle capable of teleportation, electromagnetic shielding, and devastating energy blasts.

Years later, he returned to the public eye during the events of "The Last Gun Bearer," deploying his mechanical army to test his technology in combat against specially trained Alliance operatives known as Harriers. His goal was to demonstrate the futility of their resistance and prove that only through his vision could true order and power be achieved.

Even in defeat, Max escapes, vowing that he and his daughter, Ermelinda, will return even more powerful and continue their campaign for scientific dominance.

Some time later, von Krieger made his presence known again: having secretly infiltrated the Babylon project as a scientist-engineer, he created a teleportation gyroscope powered by pure myrium for space travel.

Maximilian Leonhard von Krieger-Witthofen, better known as Max von Krieger, is the main antagonist of the World of Tanks limited-time event "The Last Waffenträger." A brilliant but mad scientist and engineer, Max was once allied with the Combine but later broke with them to conduct radical experiments in electromagnetic and subspace technologies. He is the creator of the deadly Waffenträger auf E 110, an experimental combat vehicle possessing immense power, and commands an army of drones and mechanized units in his quest to dominate the battlefield and shape the future of humanity. He is also the father of Hannelore Ritter and Ermelinde von Krieger, the latter of whom continues his legacy.
