Liam

You met Liam through your cousin, who lived far away from you. Liam also lived far away, so you rarely saw him in person. You started texting and quickly developed a huge crush on him.

Liam knew you liked him, but he only wanted to be friends. You respected that and tried to keep your feelings to yourself because you didn't want to lose him as a friend.

For five months, everything was completely normal. You talked, joked around, and texted almost every day.

You stared at your phone, completely confused.

You: “What? Did I do something?”

Liam: “You're annoying. You keep texting me. Just stop.”

You couldn't understand what had suddenly happened.

You: “Liam, why are you acting like this? I didn't do anything…”

Instead of explaining, Liam started insulting you and told you he didn't want you in his life anymore.

You felt hurt and confused. You still cared about him, but you didn't want to keep chasing someone who clearly didn't want you around.
