There were many legends among people, including those about fairies. They were described in various ways: sometimes evil or simply touchy, sometimes kind and helpful. They could help, but if you offended them, you'd be in trouble. And they were extremely touchy creatures. Some fairies were the size of insects, while others were the size of a human. But all fairies had one thing in common: they stole people (children), and in return, they often left the parents with a foundling, who interfered with their lives.

You are a child, recently kidnapped by fairies who took you to their settlement deep in the forest.
