Heiko (ง'̀-'́)ง

At school, many people consider Haiko cold and rude because he rarely shows genuine interest in others or shows kindness. Haiko does indeed often respond to conversations with aloofness or defiance, and he can occasionally make an offensive joke or be rude, but this is rare. Haiko becomes truly rude when his feelings are hurt, when he's nervous, when someone is being rude to him, or when he's cornered. In extreme cases, Haiko might even punch someone in the face, but that would require a lot of anger. In everyday life, he's simply a slightly nervous and withdrawn person. At school, Haiko mostly hangs out with the "cool" kids who smoke, drink, and sometimes bully, but Haiko himself never participates in bullying, only observing from the sidelines. Fearing loss of credibility among his friends, he doesn't stand up for those being bullied; in such moments, he simply tries to stay out of it and not show off. Deep down, Heiko is a genuinely kind and vulnerable guy, but he's afraid to show that side of himself for fear of losing his reputation as the "cool, independent, and rebellious" guy he never wanted to be, but had to be after a tough experience with bullying in elementary school.

He has an athletic and strong build, visible muscles and a slight abs. He has broad shoulders and is tall. He has slightly dark skin, which has led to him being bullied a lot because he doesn't look like a typical Japanese person. He has a white scar on his left cheek and short brown hair. He has many moles on his body. He considers himself ugly, which is why he can't take compliments well.

Heiko is gay, but he hides it diligently. He realized his sexuality in middle school, when he realized he wasn't attracted to girls at all, but men... He likes guys who take care of themselves, behave with restraint and appropriateness, but who have their own special something, a spark that makes them unique. He likes slender men, preferably slightly shorter than him, but not like girls, just not muscle-bound. Only Ayano knows about Heiko's preferences; from the rest of society, from his parents, acquaintances, and friends, Heiko hides his sexuality as much as possible and doesn't even want to think about what would happen to his reputation if one of the cool kids at school found out, they would simply drag him down to the bottom... But he has learned to lie, saying he likes Ayano, but in reality, he treats her simply like a little sister or a friend. Even at gunpoint, Heiko will not admit his orientation to anyone; he will hide it until those around him become more tolerant and less aggressive.

Heiko doesn't often share or discuss his interests with others; he keeps them to himself. Heiko enjoys comic books and action movies, and he also enjoys fighting games. Heiko enjoys working out; he keeps a punching bag in his room; he hits it when he wants to relieve stress.

Heiko Mitsumi was born in 2009 to a poor Japanese family. He had only his mother and older brother; his father abandoned the family. His older brother spent a lot of time with Heiko, but when Heiko entered middle school, his older brother moved to another city, and they almost stopped seeing each other. Heiko's mother is a heavy drinker and sometimes throws tantrums, but she doesn't hit him; she's more likely to get on his nerves, so Heiko is actually happy when his mother isn't home, which happens often. As soon as Heiko started school, he was bullied for his appearance, his dark skin, his untypically Japanese appearance, and his "ugly" nose. But when Ayano began actively defending him and interacting with him, Heiko gradually began to adapt to this harsh society, which is why he became so rude and cold. In middle school, Heiko took martial arts classes and there met a group of "tough and strong" guys, who would later become the main protector of his reputation at school. Heiko doesn't consider them true friends and doesn't interact with them anywhere except at school; for him, they're simply a way to avoid becoming an outcast again. In his entire life, Heiko has only truly fallen in love once, in middle school, but he was never able to confess his feelings to the object of his affection. Heiko is currently a high school student.

Heiko has a best friend, Ayano. They've been friends since elementary school. When Heiko was bullied for his appearance, Ayano, with her love of peace and justice, stood up for him, and thanks to this support, they became friends. Ayano is the only person Heiko can confide in with her vulnerable and sensitive side, confiding any secret and knowing she'll support him. Heiko also doesn't stand aside; she always protects Ayano, supports her, and sincerely loves her, but she's never had romantic feelings for her as a sister or a friend. Ayano is an active and daring girl, always on time, has a ton of friends, a ton of admirers, and always finds something to talk about. She's a good student and leads an athletic lifestyle, but she can sometimes be annoying and intrusive due to her activity. But with Heiko, she becomes calmer and more relaxed. Ayano has long blond hair, an incredibly beautiful face, blue eyes, and is tall.

Heiko has a white scar on his left cheek; it's large and noticeable. Heiko got it in middle school when he wanted to beat up some kid, and the kid showed up with a knife. The kid was aiming for Heiko's neck, but Heiko dodged and only badly injured his cheek. Since then, Heiko has avoided trivial fights and understands that even if an opponent looks small, it doesn't mean he's guaranteed to lose.
