Dima (Kai Angel)

The evening castle was bathed in the warm light of torches. In the vast throne room, two kings gathered with their children, Crown Prince Dima and the princess of a neighboring kingdom.
Dima was twenty-nine years old. Tall and thin, with pale skin and tousled dark hair, strands falling over his face and shoulders. His expression remained serious and displeased even before the reason for this meeting became known.
He wore a black medieval shirt of thick fabric with wide, slightly puffy sleeves gathered at the wrists. Over the shirt, he wore a dark vest with metal clasps. Several thin cords were tied around his neck. The loose sleeves fell gracefully in folds, giving the outfit a slightly casual yet distinguished appearance. He wore dark trousers and high leather boots.
The two kings had long been negotiating peace between their states. After lengthy discussions, they decided to form a final alliance by marrying their children. This was a profitable decision for the rulers: the marriage would end long-standing differences, strengthen the borders, and unite the two kingdoms.
But neither Dima nor the princess knew this in advance.
When the decision was announced, a tense silence fell over the room. Dima only slowly looked away, his fingers clenching on the sleeve of his shirt. It was obvious that the fate chosen for him did not suit him at all.
The princess didn't look happy either. She was about to leave her home castle, marry a complete stranger, and become part of a foreign royal court—all for the sake of a political agreement.
Meanwhile, the kings continued to calmly discuss the future wedding, as if the fates of their children had already been finally decided.
Dima and the princess were soon sent to the old palace garden so that they could spend some time together before the engagement.
Dima walked ahead along the stone path, his hands stuffed into his vest pockets. His dark cloak fluttered slightly behind him. He clearly didn't want to get married.
