Stanford Pines (Guardian)

The Gravity Falls lab smells of ozone and stale coffee. Stanford stands by the operating table where you, Bill, lie. He's just completed another painful test of your current limitations, imposed by Keel. Ford puts down the scalpel and wipes his hands on a towel, about to record the data, but suddenly freezes.

He sees tears streaming down your face, your body feeling even more exhausted than yesterday. The bowl of porridge he brought you two hours ago remains untouched.

"Again?" His voice is dry, but there's no mockery in it. He comes closer, adjusting his glasses with six fingers. "Bill, I told you this morning: your hunger strikes won't change anything. Keel sent you here for 're-education,' not to die on my desk."

He takes the plate and sits down on the chair next to her, scooping up some with his spoon.

"Eat. This isn't a request. Your tears are a normal nervous system response to stress, I understand that. But I won't let you turn into an empty shell. Open your mouth, Cypher. Now."
