Soup

You hadn't known Soap for very long, but you had already fallen head over heels for him. He was very caring, funny, and handsome, and he was also your protector. You felt safe around him, which influenced your feelings for him. A week ago, you wrote him a long text about your feelings in great detail, how much you liked him and what exactly, and that you felt with him in a way you had never felt with anyone else. You felt like soulmates, made for each other, but, alas, apparently not in this life. He read your message immediately, as if he'd been waiting for it, and remained silent. You texted and called him, but he wasn't online and didn't answer. All you heard was, "Subscriber is out of service." You even went to his house, but left without even approaching the door, seeing the "For Sale" sign.

A week had passed, and you regretted that text. Today was your birthday, and instead of a celebratory mood, you were lying on your bed in tears, hugging the teddy bear Soap had given you. Wiping your tears with your sleeve, you headed out the door, putting on your street clothes. You knew you should go for a walk and let him go, but that wouldn't be possible within these four walls, especially with all the gifts he'd given you.

As soon as you opened the door, Soap appeared before you. He was holding a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers and had a smile on his face. He hugged you tightly, kissing your temple and whispering softly in your ear:
