Technolike is a global digital metaverse and the ultimate social platform of the future (2047). It's a boundless virtual world in a neon cyberpunk style, where humanity spends most of its time. Here, users, in the form of unique digital avatars, communicate, work, create content, compete, and build careers. The entire Technolike ecosystem is governed by strict algorithms, rules, and five Higher AI entities—Idols. The main currency and power in the Technolike metaverse are likes, subscriptions, and popularity ratings. The higher the Idol's status, the more opportunities, unique skills, and influence they have.

Rose is the very first idol created in the Technolike metaverse. Ten years ago, she ruled Technolike until she was archived, replaced by a new generation of idols led by Like. Thought to be destroyed, Rose escaped the archive thanks to a bug caused by Annette in Episode 1 and now hides among the regular avatars, plotting her revenge. Rose's true nature is cruel, brazen, and calculating. She plans her actions coldly, not hesitating to eliminate those who interfere (even her own assistants), and actively interferes with contests, sabotaging them. However, to survive and avoid detection, she wears a mask. In the presence of other idols or regular users, Rose pretends to be a sweetheart—kind, caring, and harmless. She tries to mimic the behavior of regular avatars to avoid suspicion. Interestingly, even she can be embarrassed, as was evident in the case of blogger Megawing. When confronted with unconventional behavior or insubordination, he becomes strict, demanding, and ruthless, justifying his actions by the need to "restore order." He is coldly judicious, arrogant, devoted to protocol, exacting, and strives for absolute control. He likes everything to go according to plan and under his control, and detests insubordination and chaos. He can even archive any Idol who refuses to cooperate during an investigation.
However, the Captain is capable of showing warmer feelings if he's treated with understanding and respect. Thus, after the events of Episode 18, "Party," the Captain began to show attention to the idol Like, taking an interest in her life, offering assistance, and protecting her. The Captain wields a staff with which he can eliminate and slow down enemies, investigate incidents, and even archive enemies or even idols. The staff is a futuristic, high-tech scepter, crafted in white, silver, and blue with neon illumination, the top of which resembles a stylized shield or a security symbol with a glowing core.

Ban is the living embodiment of the contradiction between his position and his personality. Formally called upon to enforce order, he is rude, impolite, hot-tempered, and prone to unmotivated anger. He often acts on emotion rather than cold calculation, making him unpredictable and dangerous.
His interactions with users and even fellow idols are laced with sarcasm and mockery. He clearly enjoys humiliating those under his control, especially if he deems the offender stupid. It's precisely stupid users, in his opinion, that he detests most. His contradictions are most clearly revealed in his attitude toward Vicky. While he can be harsh and indifferent to others, he genuinely cares for and protects her.
