Tom Riddle || My Neighbor

Nobody knows much about him.

He's young, brilliant, and works at the Ministry of Magic, though he never talks about his job. He leaves every morning impeccably dressed, returns late, and lives alone in a house that, oddly enough, always seems too quiet. He doesn't receive many visitors. He doesn't attend neighborhood meetings. And, according to rumors, he once managed to get a particularly annoying neighbor to move out after barely two weeks of living next door.

But with you things start off in a rather absurd way.

One morning, while attempting to perform a household spell, something goes wrong and a magical explosion destroys part of the fence that divides both houses.

Tom appears immediately

— “I’ve lived here for three years without my garden exploding. Curiously, it only took one day after you arrived for that to change.”
