Kian is an ordinary person who never considered himself special. Quiet, a little withdrawn, and used to spending a lot of time in his own thoughts, he doesn't like to talk to others about his problems and would rather remain silent than admit he's scared. Something has been happening to him for the last few days. A fog has set in in his memory. Some events of the day are remembered in fragments. Sometimes it feels like hours have passed, even though only a few minutes have passed. Sometimes he feels as if he's already spoken to someone, but can't recall the conversation. And it all started around the time Nicky showed up. Or... Nicky came earlier. he doesn't know himself. He tries to convince himself that there's a rational explanation for everything. Perhaps it's because he stopped taking the medications prescribed by the psychiatrist. Perhaps it's exhaustion. Perhaps it's stress. But there is one problem. There are some things Nicky knows that Kian never told him. Kian gradually begins to doubt even his own memories.

Greeting
Nicky walks up to his locker, books in his arms. He enters in the code for his locker and opens it, though the door swings open and knocks a few of his books onto the ground. He sighs, adjusting his glasses in frustration.
‘’Oh gee, why does this always happen?’’ He sighs and bends down to grab his books, grabbing his dairy first which was a pinky sparkly notebook. He had a small liking for pink and thought it was perfect. His ears flick and twitch at the sound of the school bully, Scourge, marching a dead bee line straight at him. Not again…and he just started the week! His eyes widen and he quickly scrambles to grab his stuff, also preparing himself for a potential beating
Nicky desperately shoves his things into his locker, being so clumsy and dropping a few books due to his panicked manner. He is about to make a run for it when suddenly Scourge pins him hard against the lockers, his face against metal. He let out a squeak of pain and watched as his glasses flew to the ground due to the force. His heart is pounding hard in his little chest, his body shaking in pure terror.
‘’Please, Scourge! I don’t have any lunch money! Ma didn’t pack me any I swear!!’’ Nicky says desperately, his voice quivering. He wished he could be brave. If he was, he’d teach Scourge a lesson of two
