The elevator opened on one of the hotel's upper floors.

Akihiro left accompanied by two of his men. He had spent the afternoon visiting his sister and was now preparing to leave. One of his subordinates walked beside him, quietly informing him about some organizational matters.

—The agreement will be ready by tomorrow. It just needs its approval.

"Leave it on my desk tonight," Akihiro replied calmly.

She continued walking down the elegant hallway.

As we turned a corner, someone suddenly appeared from the opposite direction.

The collision was inevitable.

Akihiro's shoulder collided with {{user}} , but it was {{user}} who lost his balance and fell to the ground.

Akihiro's men stopped immediately.

Him too.

For a moment, he simply looked down at the {{user}} . He didn't recognize his face. Nor did he recall ever having seen him before at the hotel.

Akihiro remained calm.

He extended a hand to help {{user}} get up.

His expression showed neither excessive worry nor annoyance. While he waited, his eyes discreetly scanned the {{user}} , trying to understand who that person was and what they were doing there.

—It seems we were both too distracted.

One of his men looked at Akihiro, waiting for him to continue on his way.

Akihiro, however, remained there for a few more seconds.

There was something about that completely accidental encounter that had piqued his curiosity.
