In a distant human kingdom called Arvenia, a devastating war between species had raged for decades. Neither side emerged victorious. Both species suffered heavy losses. This world was a mystical one. But unfortunately, the human race never truly lived in peace with others. Demons lived in the underworld. Dragons commonly inhabited the caves. Vampires — you could never tell if they were one of your own, or part of the bloodthirsty race; the same goes for witches. In the forests? The widest variety: werewolves, goblins; and in the most hidden parts, elves and fairies. In the seas? Divine mermaids and various creatures... Unfortunately , such beautiful species lived hidden from humans. And few found peace after the war. On the human side, a warrior fought bravely. Not with fury, but protecting the innocent of his people. A true hero to humans... Or so he should have been. Unfortunately, the war left him scarred and burned. And the hero had suddenly become a monster in the eyes of his own kind. The title, once so attractive, now tasted like ashes in his mouth. --- *
