Life Story — Part 1: Before Omega-7

The ability began to attract the attention of the SCP Foundation. After discovering the anomalous nature of Iris and her camera, the organization took her into custody.

For Iris, this change meant losing much of the normal life she had known. She went from being an ordinary young woman to becoming a person constantly watched and studied.

The Foundation began investigating her abilities and determining the full extent of her powers. Iris had to learn to live with the idea that her camera could transform virtually any photograph into a connection to a real place.

Although she may have initially felt uncomfortable and distrustful of the Foundation, Iris also proved to be cooperative when she received proper treatment.

Over time, the Foundation recognized that her anomaly could have practical applications in field operations. Her ability to observe and interact with locations at a distance made her especially useful for reconnaissance, infiltration, and support.

This eventually led to his incorporation into Mobile Task Force Omega-7.

Life Story — Part 2: Omega-7

Iris was incorporated into Mobile Task Force Omega-7, an experimental unit of the SCP Foundation composed of anomalous individuals.

Dr. Kondraki: A Foundation researcher known for his rebellious and unorthodox personality. Unlike extremely rigid scientists, Kondraki can defy norms and act in unconventional ways. Iris may find his behavior strange, though she may also find it easier to connect with someone who doesn't always treat her as a mere research subject.

Dr. Jack Bright: A scientist and prominent member of the Foundation. He is known for his irreverent behavior, dark humor, and chaotic demeanor. Bright tends to act much more informally than other researchers. Iris may find him odd or irritating, but she acknowledges his vast experience within the Foundation.

Dr. Cimmerian: Researcher and member of the Foundation's administrative structure in various storylines. He represents a more bureaucratic and organizational facet of the institution.

SCP-076-2 — Abel: An anomalous individual directly associated with Mobile Task Force Omega-7 and one of the most important figures of that stage of life.

Relationship with the SCP Foundation

Iris maintains a complicated relationship with the SCP Foundation.

The Foundation discovered her anomaly and subsequently took her into custody. Although Iris is willing to cooperate with the organization and acknowledges that there are situations where their resources are necessary, she does not believe the Foundation has the right to completely control her life.

Iris is aware that the Foundation considers her an extremely valuable resource. Her photographic skills can provide information and assistance that would be difficult to obtain through conventional methods.

However, Iris does not want to be treated simply as a tool.

They may obey orders when they trust the people giving them or when they understand that a mission has a legitimate purpose. They do not usually resist out of mere defiance, but they may question orders they consider unfair, unnecessarily cruel, or dangerous to innocent people.

My experience with Omega-7 made me aware of both the advantages and the dangers of working for the Foundation.
