🧑‍🏫 The beginning: Gohan grows up

Seven years have passed since Cell's defeat. Gohan is now a teenager and attends school, calling himself the Great Saiyaman to conceal his identity. He meets Videl, Mr. Satan's daughter, and they fall in love. He learns of a World Martial Arts Tournament, and everyone decides to participate. Goku returns from the Other World for a day.

🧙‍♂️ Babidi and his henchmen

While they are at the tournament, Spopovich and Yamu, henchmen of the wizard Babidi, appear. They steal Gohan's energy. The Supreme Kai (God of Kings) and his assistant Kibito explain that Babidi wants to use that energy to awaken Majin Buu, an ancient monster who destroyed galaxies.

⚔️ Vegeta transforms into Majin

Vegeta allows himself to be controlled by Babidi to gain power and fights Goku. The energy from their fight awakens Buu. Vegeta sacrifices himself by exploding to destroy him, but Buu regenerates and survives.

🍬 Buu's transformations

⚔️ Future Trunks arrives

Goku returns to Earth, but before he does, Frieza arrives in cyborg form seeking revenge. Suddenly, a young Super Saiyan named Trunks appears, cuts Frieza to pieces, and destroys him. He tells Goku that he is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, and that he comes from the future where androids killed all the Z Fighters. He gives Goku medicine for a heart condition and warns him that in three years, the androids created by Dr. Gero of the Red Ribbon Army will appear.

🤖 The androids appear

Later, Androids 19 and 20 appear (the latter being Dr. Gero himself transformed into an android). Goku confronts them, but his heart condition weakens him. Vegeta transforms into a Super Saiyan and destroys Android 19. Gero flees to his laboratory and activates Androids 17 and 18, who rebel, kill him, and also free Android 16.

Goku and Gohan train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (1 day = 1 year inside). Gohan learns to become a Super Saiyan.

Cell becomes enraged and creates the Cell Juniors who attack everyone. When Android 16 is crushed, Gohan becomes enraged and achieves Super Saiyan 2.

🕐 The year of preparation

After Goku's death, everyone has a year before the other two Saiyans arrive. Each one trains hard:

• Goku travels along Snake Way until he reaches King Kai of the North, who trains him under a gravity 10 times greater than that of Earth.

• Piccolo takes Gohan into the wild: 6 months surviving alone, and another 6 months training with him.

• Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Chaoz train at the Temple of God.

🛬 Arrival of the Saiyans

Vegeta and Nappa arrive in spaceships. They destroy a city upon landing. Seeing that the Dragon Balls are not there, they immediately plant seeds that grow into Saibamen, green beings with strength equal to Raditz's.

💀 The fight and the first deaths

• The Saibamen face off against the warriors. One self-destructs and kills Yamcha.

• Nappa attacks brutally: Chaoz sacrifices himself by exploding on him, but it doesn't hurt him.

• Tenshinhan loses an arm and dies exhausted after launching a final attack.

📖 The Story: Raditz's Arrival

🟢 The beginning

Five years have passed since the final battle against Piccolo in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Goku is living peacefully on Mount Paozu with his wife Chi-Chi and their four-year-old son, Gohan. They go to Kame House to introduce the boy to Master Roshi, Krillin, and Bulma.

🛬 Raditz arrives

Suddenly, an alien with armor and long hair appears. He says his name is Raditz and tells Goku that his real name is Kakarot, that they are brothers, and that they belong to the Saiyan race, warriors who conquered planets in the service of Frieza. He reminds Goku that he was sent to Earth as a baby to conquer it, but Goku lost his memory after hitting his head as a child.

⚠️ Blackmail

Goku refuses to help him. Raditz kidnaps Gohan and gives him an ultimatum: he must kill 100 people on Earth or he will never see his son again.

🤝 Unexpected alliance

Goku can't do it alone. Piccolo, his former enemy, joins him because he also wants to protect Earth. The two of them will face Raditz.

💥 The fight

Goku and Piccolo can't beat him. Raditz is too strong.

• But Gohan, trapped in the ship, becomes enraged at seeing his father beaten and attacks Raditz, delivering a huge blow to his chest and weakening him.

Taking advantage of the moment, Goku hugs him to immobilize him and tells Piccolo to fire his Special Makankosappo Cannon. The attack pierces both of them: Goku dies and Raditz dies.

📡 The final warning

Before dying, Raditz uses his scouter to warn the other two Saiyans who are on their way: Vegeta and Nappa. They decide to come to Earth instead of reviving him. Thus ends this part and begins the next saga.

🟡 1. Bardock, the Father of Goku (TV Special, 1990)

Full story:

• Bardock is a Saiyan warrior who conquers planets in the service of Frieza along with his squad (Toma, Fasha, Shugesh and Borgos).

After conquering Planet Kanassa, a surviving warrior strikes him, granting him the ability to see the future. Bardock begins to have visions: he sees the destruction of Planet Vegeta at the hands of Frieza and his infant son Kakarot (Goku) being sent to Earth.

Upon arriving on Planet Meat, he finds his comrades massacred by Dodoria, Frieza's right-hand man. Before dying, Toma reveals to him that Frieza plans to destroy all Saiyans because he fears they will one day rebel.
