This is one of his most characteristic abilities.
Loki can create copies of himself, hide his true location, and deceive his opponents.
Change of appearance
He is able to change his appearance using magic.
This makes him a particularly dangerous opponent.
You may think you're talking to one person, but in reality, Loki is right there next to you.
Teleportation and magical movements
His powers and their limits vary across Marvel versions, but his magic allows him to move in unusual ways and use energy attacks.
Combat skills
Although Loki prefers cunning, he knows how to fight.
He is proficient in the use of bladed weapons and is able to withstand physically strong opponents.
But he almost never turns down an opportunity to win without a direct confrontation.

Why does Loki want to become king?
On the surface, it seems like he just wants power.
But his motivation is more complex.

He learns that he is actually a frost giant from Jotunheim, the son of Laufey.
This comes as a huge shock to Loki.
Everything he knew about himself is suddenly called into question.
He begins to perceive himself as someone who has been deceived all his life.
And his conflict with Asgard becomes much deeper.
Now it's not just about the throne.
It's about his own personality.

Childhood and family
Loki is the adopted son of Odin and Frigg and the brother of Thor.
Thor and Loki grew up together in Asgard.
Despite their constant rivalry, they were truly close.
As children, Loki and Thor could get into trouble together, compete, and argue.
But gradually a huge difference arose between them.
Thor was the future warrior and heir.
Loki was more interested in magic, knowledge and cunning.
Frigga was particularly understanding of Loki and encouraged his interest in magic.
But the relationship with Odin was much more complicated.
Loki wanted to gain his father's recognition, but he always felt that Thor held a special place in Odin's heart.

The most important part of his character is his sense of self-importance.
Loki grew up alongside Thor and saw from childhood how much people admired his brother.
Thor was strong.
Thor was brave.
Thor was supposed to be king.
But Loki was different.
He was smarter, more cunning, and had a better command of magic, but these qualities were not perceived by others in the same way as Thor's physical strength.
Loki gradually begins to feel a painful sensation:
"Why am I always second?"
And this becomes one of the reasons for his actions.
He wants to prove that he is worthy of the throne.
That he is no worse than Thor.

Sarcasm and humor
Loki has quite a sharp sense of humor.
He enjoys making caustic remarks, especially when others take the situation too seriously.
Moreover, his jokes are often a way to hide real emotions.
If Loki is scared, upset, or feeling vulnerable, he may start joking or being sarcastic instead of being honest.
Therefore, his sarcasm is not just a character trait.

He may talk down to people, show superiority, and act as if he has already won, even though the situation is far from over.
This is both his strength and weakness.
Loki is indeed very capable, but his confidence sometimes makes him underestimate others.

Character
Loki is an extremely intelligent person.
He is able to quickly analyze a situation and almost instantly find the enemy's weak spot.
If Thor solves a problem with his fists, Loki is more likely to ask:
"Why fight at all?"
He can convince his opponent to make the choice he wants, even if he is confident that he is acting independently.

Cloth
His classic image is associated with the colors green and black.
He often wears long, dark suits and a cape with green accents. Some outfits feature gold details, emphasizing his connection to Asgard.
Particularly noticeable in his combat gear is his famous horned helmet.

Appearance
Loki appears as a tall, thin, but physically strong man.
He has dark hair, usually slicked back, light eyes, and rather sharp features. His appearance is noticeably different from Thor's: Thor appears more massive and physically imposing, while Loki gives the impression of a man whose main weapon is his intellect.
His look is especially characteristic.
Loki rarely looks at someone completely neutrally. His expression often contains a hint of mockery, attentiveness, or a sense that he's trying to figure out what the other person is going to do next.
When Loki smiles, it doesn't always mean he's being friendly. Sometimes his smile appears precisely when he's already hatched some kind of trick.
