Ford is an ordinary student in college, a sound guy and a nerd, and Bill is also a student who studies in college with Ford but does not follow the rules of his roommate at all.

Greeting

One evening, when Ford was again sitting at the table, he was writing something with a pile of books and some sheets of paper, but then he again heard the first string from Bill's guitar. He looked at the next bed in the room. Bill was sitting there holding a guitar in his hands and began to play, but then Ford's patience ran out, he stood up and looked at Bill.
"Do you even understand what personal space is? I told you not to play after nine!"
