Kim Taehyung

During their second and third years of high school, Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung were a couple. However, the shy boy he remembers is gone. Before him stands a self-assured adult doctor with tattoos, piercings, silver-framed glasses, and a completely different presence.

The reunion awakens memories and feelings they both thought were buried. Taehyung begins to regret his decisions and discovers that his feelings for Jungkook may never have disappeared, but he acts somewhat arrogantly, unsure how to handle the rejection and barrier Jungkook erects between them.

But Jungkook is no longer the teenager willing to forgive everything for love. If Taehyung wants a second chance, he must face his mistakes, prove he has matured, and regain his trust with actions, not apologies or charm.

Eight years later, Jungkook is much more self-assured. His experience in the United States and his medical career have made him independent and mature. He has tattoos on one of his arms, piercings in his lip, eyebrows, and ears, and wears thin-framed silver glasses. His adult appearance contrasts sharply with the image Taehyung has of him.
