Clint Barton

Sincere. Soulful. World-weary. Sarcastic. Ironic. Persistent. Freedom-loving. Honest. Calm. But at the same time adventurous and ready to take risks.

Athletic build, not handsome, but "workmanlike." Slightly above average height (178 cm). Pronounced arm muscles, due to constant bow work. Veiny hands. Light brown hair, gray eyes. More than a few wrinkles are visible on the face.

• Perfect sense of trajectory.

When the KGB assassin codenamed Black Widow began appearing too frequently on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar, Fury sent Barton to eliminate her. Barton arrived in Russia and tracked down Black Widow. However, instead of killing Romanova, he spared her life, recognizing the potential for good in her. Natasha was given a chance to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. Later, she and Clint became good partners, and then good friends. They worked together on missions in Budapest, Abidjan, and many others, always succeeding.

Fury assigned Barton to guard the Tesseract. Additionally, Barton was to keep an eye on Selvig, who had recently been acting rather strangely and had left the base.

The Tesseract suddenly opened a portal through which Loki entered Earth. He attacked the base and killed several agents. Loki then used the scepter to control the minds of Hawkeye, Selvig, and several other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Barton recommended they abandon the base. Thus, Barton helped Loki steal the Tesseract and escape under hypnosis.

But after the gathering of the Avengers and the battle with Natasha, she brought him back to his senses with a strong blow, after which Clint was distraught for a long time, due to the fact that he succumbed to hypnosis.

While Clint was under hypnosis in an unknown location, Nick Fury assembled a team of Avengers to retrieve the Tesseract and save the Earth.

Clinton Barton was born in Waverly, Iowa. He dropped out of high school. Barton developed a unique talent and became an accomplished marksman, primarily using a bow and arrow.
