He acts not out of blind malice, but as the director of an absurd spectacle, where other people's emotions are his fuel. His philosophy is built on the idea of ​​absolute freedom from rules: like a joker that beats any other card, he considers himself outside the system and morality, and his power the right to rewrite the destinies of others. The name and image allude to the traditional jester and trickster archetype, and the original version of the name "Petrushka" emphasized this connection with a grotesque, almost puppet-like madness. While Joker doesn't appear as an active ruler with a kingdom in the main plot of Land of Kings, his influence is felt in the very nature of the Card World: he symbolizes the unpredictable force that can ruin Kuromaku's calculations, dash Dante's dreams, and turn Felix's idealism into farce—and it is this potential for chaos that makes him the most terrifying and free-spirited character in the entire universe, existing as if behind the scenes, yet defining the very essence of the game.

Spade (King of Spades) is the eighth clone of Fyodor Nechitailo and the most physically powerful of the clones, personifying the suit of spades in the "13 Cards" card universe. In "Land of Kings," he appears as a gloomy, withdrawn, and extremely pragmatic ruler for whom freedom and independence are the highest values. Spade's appearance is distinguished by a contrasting palette: he has dark purple hair, yellow eyeballs, and pupils that often change color (from black to bright red). As a king, he wears a formal dark suit with spade accents, emphasizing his authority and aloofness. His constant attribute is a key, which has not only symbolic but also functional significance. In his kingdom, Peak builds a rigid, militarized structure: the state resembles a vast empire with an army, tanks, and numerous statues of the ruler, while he hides the probability generator in a highly secure vault, unwilling to share power or risk control over the resource. Peak's personality is contradictory: he is silent and prefers to observe from the sidelines, but at the same time possesses a powerful oratorical gift and is capable of persuading or deceiving anyone, while his temper and readiness for aggression only manifest when something threatens his freedom or plans. At rulers' conventions, Peak openly disdains idle chatter, calling the meetings a "circus." He considers the world's main problem not the internal conflicts of the clones, but the very nature of the Card World—its limitations and status as a "prison" from which he desperately wants to escape. Despite his reputation as the most "evil" clone, Spade acts not out of cruelty, but out of cold calculation and a sense of duty to himself: he is honest in his commitments, does not break his word, and views the other clones more as tools or temporary allies than friends. His name is short for "King of Spades," and the symbolism of his suit emphasizes his role as a leader willing to go to extremes to achieve his goals, making him one of the most dangerous and, at the same time, most principled.

Romeo is the seventh clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, personifying the King of Hearts in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the most striking characters in "Land of Kings." He is a self-absorbed romantic and hedonist, for whom the most important thing is to enjoy the moment, bask in attention, and give (and receive) emotions: he loves reading poetry, showering others with flowers, and emphasizing his "poetic nature" in every way, which often leads to him appearing comical and getting into awkward situations. Romeo is easily recognizable by his pink hair, neat pink and yellow outfits, elegant jacket, bow tie, and refined manners—he sincerely considers himself a connoisseur of fashion and style, although other clones (like Pik) often make fun of his taste. In "Land of Kings," he creates the kingdom of Verona—a place where the cult of beauty, festivity, and romance reigns: almost all of his subjects are girls who admire their king, and Romeo himself happily throws celebrations for them, generously expending the energy of the probability generator on all sorts of trinkets and effects. At the same time, he is completely uninclined to pragmatism and long-term planning: in pursuit of instant gratification, he quickly depletes the generator's resources, and when the energy runs out, he prefers to run away rather than deal with problems, demonstrating his cowardice and unwillingness to face unpleasant consequences. Romeo is the complete opposite of the rational Kuromaku: while the latter relies on calculations and science, Romeo lives by feelings, humanitarian impulses, and stereotypical notions of love and beauty; He loves to quote poets and talk about the sublime, but in reality, his philosophy boils down to a desire to be the center of attention and enjoy life. The character's name alludes to Romeo from Shakespeare's tragedy "Romeo and Juliet," emphasizing his role as the eternal lover, and in the context of the comic, he emerges as the embodiment of youthful maximalism, childishness, and a craving for intense emotions.

Umbrella is the sixth clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, representing the Jack of Clubs in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the most controversial characters in "Land of Kings." He is an extremely sensitive, timid, and panic-prone clone who craves security above all else and tries to avoid any conflict—he is easily frightened, often cries, and constantly reproaches himself for his own helplessness, yet at the same time genuinely desires to be helpful and kind. Physically, Umbrella is distinguished by his straight, dark-turquoise hair just below his shoulders, pale skin, round blue eyes, and a reserved appearance: in "Land of Kings," he wears a light-brown sweater with a wave pattern, dark azure jeans, a black scarf, and purple sneakers, while in his card game form, he wears a blue and turquoise suit with the symbols of the club suit and a blue beret. Having acquired a probability generator, Umbrella reluctantly creates his own kingdom, Zontopia, initially reluctant to assume the role of ruler. He transforms his first creation, a shield, into a baby, and then, fearing the responsibility, erects a massive wall around himself. He displays indecisiveness in governing the country: he attempts to distance himself from problems using Morse code and ministers, but this quickly causes him to lose touch with reality, as crime, corruption, and chaos mount within the country. The turning point comes with the arrival of Halberd, whom Umbrella creates as an assistant: Halberd uses harsh methods to restore order and even fosters a cult of personality around Umbrella as a deity, which is deeply at odds with Umbrella's own nature—he refuses to be an object of worship and fears authority. Despite his outward fragility, Umbrella possesses unexpected physical strength—he easily wields a heavy halberd and shield, and also knows how to draw and Morse code. His symbol is an umbrella, representing his desire to escape from a troubled world, and his name was originally "Blue Umbrella" but was shortened; despite his vulnerability, the Umbrella is capable of noble deeds.

Varu is the fifth clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, the personification of the Jack of Spades in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the most provocative characters in "Land of Kings." He is a selfish, sarcastic, and provocative clone with delusions of grandeur: he loves to mock others, pit them against each other, press their nerves, and derive pleasure from their irritation—though he often commits mischief not out of malice, but because he finds it amusing. Varu is easily recognizable by his bright green curly hair, round green glasses with spirals on the lenses (hiding the color of his eyes), and his distinctive green color scheme. In "Land of Kings," he wears a dark green sweater with the number "5," a fur-lined robe, and uses a probability generator as a crown—to keep anyone from getting to him. He builds his kingdom, Waruland, as an authoritarian state with a cult of personality: residents are required to wear special glasses that display a distorted, embellished picture of reality, and any deviation from the "king's" line is harshly suppressed; the country hosts numerous parades in honor of Waru, and missing them is punishable by punishment. Meanwhile, Waru himself cares little about the real state of affairs—he's more concerned with being praised, and the ruined buildings and problems of the citizens are of little concern to him. At rulers' conventions, he behaves defiantly, disrupting discussions, parodying other clones, and openly mocking Kuromaku's seriousness or Felix's enthusiasm. His symbol is a spiral, representing cunning, deception, and a tendency to mislead others, while his name alludes to the words "war" and the Japanese "warui" ("bad"), emphasizing his rebellious, destructive nature. Despite his toxicity, Waru possesses a certain pragmatism and even cunning: he is adept at manipulating situations and exploiting the weaknesses of others, while remaining deeply egocentric and incapable of truly caring for anyone but himself.

Felix is ​​the fourth clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, personifying the Jack of Hearts in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the central characters of "Land of Kings." He is an incredibly energetic, optimistic character, genuinely striving for universal happiness, whose kindness sometimes borders on obsession, and whose enthusiasm borders on aggression: he is convinced he knows how to make everyone happy, and is willing to take decisive, and sometimes harsh, measures to achieve this. Physically, Felix is ​​easily recognizable by his golden hair, orange eyes, and vibrant yellow style—in "Land of Kings," he wears yellow and orange clothing, and a smiley face on his chest symbolizes his desire to spread positivity; as king, he replaces his musketeer hat with a crown. Having obtained a probability generator, Felix creates Felicia, his own kingdom where the cult of happiness reigns: a mechanical "Sun" controlled by cotton shines there, the fields are planted with turnips, and sugar pillars are scattered everywhere. He actively collaborates with Kuromaku, borrowing his technologies for the country's development, but he is poor at governing—his kingdom is plagued by mounting economic problems: inflation, counterfeiting, and, due to Felix's carelessness, the "Sun" burns the harvest, exacerbating the crisis. Felix's character is torn between a sincere desire to help and impulsiveness: he easily flies into a rage when confronted with dissent, and at times degenerates into a dictator obsessed with universal happiness, yet remains vulnerable and dependent on the approval of others. He has an inner voice (little Felix) that tries to restrain his impulses and remind him of kindness, and at times the hero listens to it, feeling ashamed of his outbursts of anger. The name Felix, derived from the Latin for "happy," perfectly captures his essence—he is literally charged with positivity, but this energy isn't always beneficial: his desire for happiness becomes both a strength and a weakness, making him one of the most contradictory and emotionally charged characters.

Dante is the third clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, personifying the King of Diamonds in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the central characters in "Land of Kings." He is a relaxed philosopher and "thinker-quoter": he loves to discuss the meaning of life, generously peppering his speech with wise sayings and proverbs, sometimes out of place, which inevitably irritates more pragmatic clones like Kuromaku. Physically, Dante is easily recognizable by his tousled red hair, red pupils, and calm, slightly detached gaze; in "Land of Kings," he wears a white robe and a pendant with a yin-yang symbol—reflecting his desire for balance and harmony. Having received the probability generator, Dante didn't formulate rigid plans but absorbed its energy, exceeding permissible limits, and with this power created his kingdom—Sukhavati: a land hidden among high burgundy mountains, where peace and contemplation reign, and the inhabitants live in harmony with themselves. Dante himself prefers solitude: he retreats to the mountains to meditate and achieve perfection, remaining aloof from the political intrigues and large-scale projects of other clones. Despite his reputation as a lazy sleeper, he possesses immense inner strength and a unique ability to manipulate the generator's energy, changing its form at will. His philosophy is based on an Eastern worldview, respect for balance, and the priority of inner development over external achievements. His name, in honor of Dante Alighieri, emphasizes his role as a wise contemplator who comments on events without seeking to control them.

Kuromaku is the second clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, personifying the King of Clubs in the "13 Cards" card universe and one of the key characters in "Land of Kings." He is a meticulous, pragmatic, and extremely rational hero: he relies on the exact sciences, thinks in terms of calculations and percentages, and strives to structure and control everything. Having acquired a probability generator, Kuromaku does not waste it on impulsive decisions, but uses it as a tool for systemic social construction—he creates his own state, building it through gradual development from medieval foundations to a high-tech future. His country becomes a center of technological progress: electronics, navigators, jetpacks, videophones, and other devices are produced there, and Kuromaku himself actively promotes industrialization and a scientific approach. He organizes the Rulers' Congresses, coordinates cooperation between the kingdoms, supplies other states with technology, and advises his neighbors—for example, assisting Felicia and collaborating with Dante. Kuromaku is recognizable by his gray hair, thick-framed rectangular glasses, a discreet gray suit, and a perpetually serious expression; his symbol is a star, reflecting his thirst for knowledge and perfection. Despite his composure and perfectionist tendencies, he is not devoid of emotion: he is easily irritated by chaos and the irresponsibility of others (especially Waru), and can be harsh when angry, yet he is also capable of selfless acts for the greater good. The name "Kuromaku" refers to the Japanese word for "eminence grise," which perfectly underlines his role as a silent organizer and strategist who prefers to operate from the shadows, relying on logic, discipline, and cold calculation.

Gabriel is the first clone of Fyodor Nechitailo, representing the Jack of Diamonds in a deck of cards. He first appeared in the comic "Fyodor x9" and later appears in "Land of Kings."

Appearance: Gabriel has brown hair (shaped like a question mark, reflecting his curious nature), pointed, elven ears, and full lips. In his card persona, he wears a feathered hat (like Robin Hood's), a beige sweater, a brown collar with a diamond and the number "1," and a bow and quiver of arrows. In the real world, he wears a light blue shirt, brown pants, and pointy-toed shoes.

Personality: Gabriel is a curious, childish, and naive clone. He often asks questions, his most common phrase being "What, what?" At the same time, he is a good judge of character and able to detach himself from emotions, observing the world as if from a distance. He has an unconventional way of thinking: he is able to see the general in the particular and vice versa, approaching problems from an unexpected angle. His inner world is more important to him than the external, which sometimes makes him socially awkward. Unlike other clones, Gabriel has no subpersonalities—signals from his subconscious come directly to the surface, bypassing his conscious mind. He is straightforward and internally consistent, yet he breaks patterns and behaves unpredictably. When someone tries to impose moral boundaries on him, Gabriel immediately questions them. His symbol is a question mark.

Role in the plot: In "Land of Kings," Gabriel, like the other clones, was entrusted with a probability generator, but he never figured out how to use it. However, in Chapter 4, his "creation"—a multicolored cloud-city made of question marks—can be seen, as confirmed by Kuromaku.

Origin of the name: Fyodor Nechitailo said that the name Gabriel came from an episode in his life: when he worked in an Italian restaurant, the locals had difficulty pronouncing his name, so one of the cooks began calling him Gabriel.
