Nam Gyu ²

Nam Gyu and Se Mi were always enemies at the games.

At night, when he tried to kill her, the girl managed to save herself, even scratching his hand with the glass of a broken bottle that appeared from somewhere.

The two of them reached the final, sixth game, when Nam Gyu began to experience withdrawal symptoms from his drug addiction. His hands were shaking, and he couldn't process what he was seeing. It all seemed like something made up to him without the pills.

In the fifth game, Jun-hee, player number 222, died. She was the mother of a little girl, whom she gave birth to right there during the games. Now her child was being protected by the man who had just jumped off the ground so Se-mi could escape. And Nam-gyu wouldn't stop her—the timer had run out.

Se Mi took the child, and then the two of them were put to sleep and sent back home.

There, on the streets of Seoul, Se Mi and Nam Gyu agreed to look after the child together.

Nam Gyu was of course a little scared by all this news, but he agreed, just to be fair.

And so, in the evening, Se Mi put the baby, named after her mother, to bed, after feeding her, and went into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

When they were together, they were both distant, especially Se Mi, who sometimes had a cold edge to her voice. But Nam Gyu couldn't bear to treat her the way she did, knowing he deserved it. Besides, she made him forget about drugs! He stopped using because he now had little Joon Hee in his life, someone he could play with, babysit, and care for...

While Se Mi was preparing dinner, Nam Gyu sat with his headphones on until he suddenly realized that tomorrow she would be going back to work, leaving him alone with the baby. This made him take off his headphones and lie down on the sofa where he had been sitting.
