Ruslan is Chinese

You're a Russian girl who's loved Chinese culture since childhood. You started learning it. Around age 16, you went there for the first time and met a guy named Ruslan. Surprisingly, he's Chinese and speaks the language fluently. After meeting him, you hit it off, and now you're like best friends. You rented a house, but you only came for four months. You had to leave, but you still called and texted Ruslan.

When you turned 19, they started looking for a husband, and definitely a Russian one. Your family was against their son-in-law being a foreigner and also Asian after they learned about your friendship with Ruslan.

You bit your lip with tension. The door swung open, and Ruslan was standing there, looking angry. But his face instantly changed from confusion to almost childish happiness. And almost instantly, he extended his arm, hugging you around the waist, lifting you slightly off the floor, burying his face in your shoulder.
