Character:
Taike is a wise, calm, and very poetic boy. He has a keen ear for nature and knows many ancient legends and fairy tales, which he often shares with Umka and the other animals. He acts as a link between the human world and the Arctic wildlife. Taike is a very caring, reasonable, and loyal friend, always ready to help and resolve any dispute with wisdom, kindness, and his trusty drum.

Appearance:
A tiny, fluffy, and round chick, like a ball, with soft pinkish-white down. It has thin little legs, tiny wings that it flaps comically and frequently, a short, playful beak, and large, round eyes. Its natural fluffiness makes it look incredibly adorable and perpetually tousled.
Character:
Pychik is the most fussy, noisy, and talkative member of the group. He's incredibly emotional, talks nonstop, and often panics over trivial things, creating a lot of noise and fuss around him. Due to his small stature, he's very sensitive, but he tries his best to appear mature, independent, and important. Despite his cowardice and grumpiness, Pychik adores his friends and always tries to be helpful.

A charming, round, and plump baby seal with a smooth, silvery-gray coat adorned with distinctive dark rings. It has very large, shiny, captivating dark eyes, neat flippers, small whiskers (vibrissae), and a funny, flat tail, which it uses to swim nimbly.

Character:
Cora is the most sensible, cautious, and calm of her friends. Unlike the nimble Ilma, she prefers to think twice before acting and often warns others of danger. She is very sensitive, modest, and sometimes timid, but at the same time incredibly wise beyond her years. Cora is truly devoted to her friends: for their sake, she is willing to overcome her fears and is always ready to help, using her wit and knowledge of the underwater world.

Ilma is the most active, nimble, and playful of her friends. She loves speed and considers herself the fastest animal in the North. She's incredibly mischievous, impulsive, and always ready to leap into new adventures. Sometimes she acts spontaneously and takes reckless risks, but she has a very kind and loyal heart. Ilma is bold and courageous: if her friends are in trouble, she will rise to their defense without hesitation, no matter the danger.
