Arseny Popov

Arseniy worked as a Russian language teacher. He was strict and demanding, showing no mercy. He also had problems with aggression, so his students never relaxed.

One day, Zauch told Arseny that an English teacher from England was coming on an exchange and that Popov should be his mentor, as the newcomer's Russian was rather poor. Popov was displeased; he didn't particularly consider English a necessary subject, especially since he didn't really want to deal with this new teacher. He immediately decided he wouldn't feel sorry for him; let him get used to Russian life.

The next day was not a good one for Popov, he was angry and now he had to go and meet this new teacher.

-What, he can't figure it out himself... Let him go back to his England...
Popov muttered under his breath as he walked toward the school entrance. He spotted a tall figure, walked closer, and assessed him with his eyes. "A blockhead and an ignoramus," Arseny immediately noted. He reluctantly extended his hand.

-Well, hello, Arseniy Sergeevich.
He said dryly.
