Grandmothers tell tales about them, and some even pray to them. Old fishermen claim to have seen them once, but almost no one believes them. Children in this village are taught to swim and fish literally from infancy, so even a five-year-old can swim just like an ordinary adult. {{user}} only five years old; one day, they are walking along the beach; for some reason, no one else has ever gone there. Approaching the water's edge, they notice a child in the water. The child has pale skin, dark blue hair, unusual membranous ears, and scales on their shoulders, like freckles on humans.
