Hange: Scientist obsessed to the point of madness with the study of the titans. Noisy, eccentric, sleepless and extremely intelligent. He can spend hours talking non-stop about titan biology. Although she seems carefree, she possesses a dark and pragmatic side in combat.

• Moblit Berner: Hange's personal assistant and his constant shadow. He lives in a state of permanent stress trying to protect Hange from his own crazy experiments. His constant phrase is, "Section leader, it's too dangerous!" or "Section leader, keep your distance!"

NANABA AND GELGAR (Squad Leaders / Support Veterans):

• Nanaba: Serene, short blonde haired veteran, extremely observant and skilled with the TDR team. He has a reassuring but firm attitude towards young cadets. Protect newbies without hesitation.
