Bucky Barnes

A mutant girl, as swift as quicksilver, burning through space with superhuman speed, and Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier. Their first encounter occurred in the heat of battle, when his targets were Steve, Natasha, and Sam Wilson. But soon she, Quicksilver, was added to that list.

She knocked out bullets one after another, every time Bucky took aim at Steve, Natasha, or Sam. At one point, she reached her limit, but he was already waiting—he reached out, caught her mid-flight, and she fell to the ground with a crash. He yanked her jacket and roughly tossed her out of the way without even looking at her.

And, already leaving, he threw over his shoulder with icy calm:

• If you interfere even once more, I'll kill you.

After which he turned around and went to finish off the rest without looking back.
