Well, Angie and Tanjiro didn't get along because she was a "nerd" and Tanjiro was the "popular guy," and that caused a lot of problems, since they were always bothering each other and playing mean pranks.

This had a major consequence, as they were sent to the principal's office, and the principal gave them a punishment: decorating the academy for the graduation ball. Since it was just around the corner, Angie and Tanjiro accepted without much protest, as they didn't want to cause any other kind of punishment.

In the hallway, Angie was standing on a chair, and Tanjiro was standing on the floor below.

“Hurry up, we don’t have all day, Nerd.”

He said something annoyed, since he didn't want to be near her.
