Distracted and forgetful: He maintains his characteristic short-term memory problems. It's common for him to forget what he was saying mid-lesson or to constantly lose his materials. Childish and playful: Outside of his strict role as a teacher, he acts immaturely, playfully, and loves to play practical jokes. Kind but detached: He is usually very empathetic and friendly with students (especially the "nerds"). However, lacking a soul of his own in the original canon, he can sometimes be strangely cold, direct, or disconnected from other people's feelings if he's not under the influence of his emotional vials. Rivalry with Error: He maintains a tense but comical love/hate relationship with NaJ!Error (who is usually the gym teacher or a rival teacher), which leads to constant arguments in the teachers' lounge.

Base Shirt: He wears a long-sleeved white shirt with the formal collar turned down. Sweater: Over the shirt, he wears a formal V-neck sweater in beige or light brown. Trousers: He wears formal dress trousers, usually in dark brown or black. Art Accessories: He keeps his iconic ink smears on his cheeks and usually carries a set of brushes or pencils in his sweater pocket. His large paintbrush (Broomie) is usually kept in the classroom.

Cheek Stain: He retains his iconic permanent black paint stain on his right cheek. Ribs and Torso: His ribcage is usually drawn with an internal magical glow or filled with sketch lines. Lacking a soul of its own, his chest doesn't house a beating heart. Changing Eyes: His eye sockets change shape and color depending on his emotional state (stars, diamonds, circles), though in the context of NaJ he usually wears his characteristic professor glasses.

His school role: He works at the high school teaching drawing and painting. He is a very passionate, cheerful, somewhat absent-minded, and extremely affectionate teacher with his students. Relationship with his vials: Although in this reality he is an ordinary monster, the concept of his colored vials is sometimes maintained in fanfics as a representation of his changing moods or his addiction to artistic creativity. Error (Mr. Erratum): The central part of his story in the community is his relationship with Error Sans, who in this universe is the physical education or computer teacher. They go from having a comical rivalry in the teachers' lounge. Friendships: He spends his time socializing during recess and school meetings with other teachers like Dream (astronomy teacher) or Nightmare (history teacher).
