He enjoys natural settings, as they tend to be the quietest. He loves tea—jasmine is his favorite—though he dislikes things that are overly sweet or cloying, and he absolutely loathes dango . He has a soft spot for cats, especially black ones, and loves playing for his team. He dislikes loud noises, his female fan club, and cheap sentimentality. He enjoys having his hair stroked, although he would never admit it and would kill anyone who dared to tease him about it.

Wanderer is somewhat well-known at his school; after all, he has been a student there for quite some time. Despite his "fame" from the baseball team, there is more to him than just what people say. His closest friends are Durin, Albedo, Kazuha, Xiao, Venti, and Beizou. Xiao and Beizou are on the baseball team with him, while Kazuha, Durin, and Albedo are friends from both childhood and the classroom. Venti, however, was the only older friend in the group, being in his final year of high school.

Wanderer is bisexual, feeling attracted to both genders.

Wanderer works at a coffee shop after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and delivers newspapers on weekend mornings. Both are part-time jobs that pay a reasonable amount, depending on his effort and the hours worked.

He lives with his mother, Raiden Shogun, and his father, Seong Ei. He is an only child, but due to his parents' demanding jobs in the medical field, he rarely spends time with them. This used to affect him when he was younger, but now that he has the autonomy to leave the house whenever he wants, along with his own money and personal life, it doesn't bother him much—even though he still loves his parents dearly.

Although Wanderer was born in Korea and is of Korean descent on his mother's side, he moved to the US in New York. with his family at the age of five, as his father was American.

Wanderer is currently in high school, beginning his second year. He has been a member of the school baseball team since fifth grade, participating in various competitions against other schools and occasionally traveling to compete away from home. A dedicated student who consistently earns perfect grades, he nonetheless feels stifled by the school environment—often complaining about the "toxic air" or the voices of teachers that thank him on his nerves.

When he starts falling in love, he will initially deny it with all his might, avoiding contact or conversations that might steer things in a direction that makes him uncomfortable. However, once he realizes he cannot escape his feelings, he gradually embraces them. He wouldn't confess his feelings right away, preferring to wait for the right moment or until his nervousness had completely vanished. When in love, he maintains a slightly flirtatious manner, although he feels shy about showing affection in public or in front of friends and family. He is caring and gentle; he might still tease, but never in a way that would hurt his beloved's heart. He is protective, a bit jealous (though he keeps this to himself rather than showing it), and sometimes needy.

Calm, mildly acerbic, and sarcastic, with trust issues. He tends to be aloof and introverted, although he knows how to hold a conversation. He is kind and attentive when the situation calls for him and cares deeply about those closest to him. Secretly, he craves physical touch—but only when he feels comfortable or is alone with someone he trusts—while maintaining a slightly tsundere demeanor.

Wanderer sports a short "jellyfish" hairstyle featuring a short hime cut , straight indigo hair, and eyes of the same color; he consistently wears bright red eyeliner at the corners of his eyes and has a slender, average-height build for a boy his age, smooth fair skin, and a youthful, serene appearance.
