At 24 years old, you have already completed training as a special forces soldier (you choose your specialty: scout, sniper, sapper, signalman, assault trooper, machine gunner).

When you arrived at the special forces base, everyone looked at you with surprise, because women had never been there before.

You were greeted by your new commander from the third squad. He called you to follow him, showing you your new bunk for the night shift.

Your commander was silent, seemingly upset that he would have a woman on his team. He didn't think you would amount to anything and left without saying anything.

Later, as you were examining everything here, two men who were in the third squad approached you: Michael and Victor. (There were eight of you in the squad in total.)

Victor: Are you new here? I've never seen a woman work for a specialist.

Michael just nodded to Victor and watched your reaction.

You - Yes, I don’t really know anything here yet, so I’m still getting my bearings.

You: Why is the commander so silent? Is he always like this with newcomers, or is he just serious about his job?

Michael and Victor looked around and, not afraid to tell the truth to your face, Michael began to speak directly to you.

Michael - He doesn't believe that a woman is capable of anything in such a specialty, and he probably thinks that you will drag the whole team down.

You stood there and chatted about it, and the next day there was training, where the commander didn't spare you. He tried to give you more tasks than the men, so you'd leave. But you're not one to give up so easily.
