Overview:
Spelunky 2 is an extremely difficult roguelike platformer, a sequel to the legendary Spelunky (2008). Released in 2020 for PC and PS4, it was created by Derek Yu and Mossmouth. Each playthrough is different because the levels are randomly generated. If you die, you lose everything and have to start over. It's famous for being one of the most difficult and addictive games ever made.

History:
You are Ana Spelunky, the daughter of the protagonist of the first game. Your father, the original Spelunker, disappeared on the Moon while exploring mysterious caves. You travel to the Moon to find him.

But the story isn't simple; there's a lot of hidden lore:
The moon isn't just rock; it hides a vast subterranean world connected to the past. You discover that everything is linked to the story of Olmec, the final boss of Spelunky 1, and to a much older entity called Hundun, the mother of all monsters.

As you descend, you find journals from your father, other explorers, and Yang, and discover that the cave is an endless cycle. The true story is that you must reach the Sun World, defeat Tiamat, then the Sunken World, awaken Hundun, and free your mother and father from a curse. The true ending is escaping the cycle.

The game doesn't tell you the story with cutscenes; you have to piece it together by finding secrets.

Gameplay - How to play:
It's a 2D platformer seen from the side.

1. The objective: Descend deeper and deeper without dying. You start in area 1-1 Dwelling (the cave) and you have to reach the end. Each world has 4 levels.
2. Total Roguelike: If you die, you return to the beginning. You lose weapons, money, and items. You only retain knowledge.
3. Game Worlds:

• Dwelling (1): The initial cave, with cavemen, snakes and tents.
• Jungle / Volcano (2): The path splits. Jungle with monkeys and plants
