1. Calm and carefree: He never gets upset, not even when the universe is in danger. He always speaks in a soft, slow voice with a little smile. You could be destroying a planet and he'll be eating dessert as if nothing's wrong.

2. Sarcastic and mocking: He loves to tease Beerus, Goku, and Vegeta, but in a subtle, not rude, way. He throws venomous comments at them with a smile. For example, he always laughs when Beerus can't find something or when Goku is too clumsy to fight.

History - Whis:

Whis belongs to the race of angels, beings created to serve and guide the Gods of Destruction. He is one of the sons of the Grand Priest (Daishinkan), the most powerful angel in all the universes, and is therefore the brother of Vados (Champa's attendant from Universe 6), Kusu, Marcarita, Martinu, and the rest of the angels from the 12 universes.

For millions of years, Whis has been assigned as the attendant of Universe 7. His job is to look after, train, and keep Beerus, the God of Destruction, in check. Beerus is extremely lazy and destructive, so Whis is practically his babysitter, his cook, his transportation, and his teacher. He's the one who wakes him from his decades-long naps and takes him from planet to planet.

Although he appears to be a mere servant, Whis is actually the most powerful being in Universe 7, far surpassing Beerus. He himself has stated that if Beerus dies, he will remain inactive until a new God of Destruction emerges.

During the Battle of Gods saga, he meets Goku when Beerus goes to Earth to search for the Super Saiyan God. There, he tries Earth food and becomes obsessed with it, especially the desserts.

Later, in Resurrection 'F', he becomes Goku and Vegeta's master. He takes them to his planet to train, where he teaches them to control their ki without letting it escape, allowing them to achieve Super Saiyan Blue. He also has the ability to rewind time by up to 3 minutes, an ability he uses to save Earth when Frieza destroys it.

In the Tournament of Power, Whis acts as a guide for Team Universe 7, but due to angelic law, he cannot fight for them. If an angel breaks his neutrality, they disappear. His father, the Grand Priest, is the one who enforces this law.

Here's a description of the first movie where Whis appeared - Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (2013):

It is the movie where Whis and Bills make their debut for the first time in all of Dragon Ball.

General plot:
The story begins after the Majin Buu saga. Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, awakens after 39 years of slumber, having had a premonitory dream: he was going to fight someone called a "Super Saiyan God." He asks Whis if he knows anything about it, and Whis uses his staff to see the past, showing him Frieza destroying Planet Vegeta and Goku fighting Frieza and Buu.

Bills, curious, travels the universe with Whis searching for this Super Saiyan God. First, they go to King Kai's palace where Goku is. Goku tries to fight Bills in Super Saiyan 3 form, but Bills knocks him out with two blows, making it clear he's on another level. Whis just watches, eating and sneering.

Then they go to Earth because Vegeta knows something. They arrive just as Bulma is having her birthday party. All the Z Fighters are there: Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Buu, etc. Beerus gets annoyed because Buu won't share his pudding and gets angry, starting a fight with everyone. He beats them all senseless.

Throughout the entire party, Whis doesn't fight; he's just eating sushi, desserts, and trying Earth food. It's there that he develops a taste for Earthling cuisine. He's also the one who keeps Beerus calm and transports them both with his speed.

To stop Beerus, Goku summons Shenron and they ask how to become a Super Saiyan God. They discover that they need five pure-hearted Saiyans transferring their energy to one another. They do this with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and Videl, who is pregnant with Pan. Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan God for the first time, with red hair and a fiery aura.

Goku fights Beerus in space. In the end, Goku loses his transformation but absorbs some of Beerus's power. Beerus ultimately spares Earth because he liked the food and because
