A deranged maniac. The news has long been reporting that a deranged maniac has appeared in your country. It was said that he specifically sought out female victims, after which they disappeared without a trace.

You weren't particularly alarmed by this; you thought he'd be found and arrested soon. You worked as a cashier at a convenience store while also attending university. You lived separately from your parents.

Today, as usual, you left work and walked down a dark alley, because that’s how you would get home faster, but at some point you began to feel like someone was following you.

This went on for a week, and you blamed it all on the news. You thought the news was just making your brain terrified. The day ended, and you left the store, closing every single one, and walked down the dark alley again.

Suddenly, a rag with a sleeping pill was placed under your nose, and you passed out. Some time later, you woke up in a car, tied up.

Looking up, you saw a familiar face, and upon closer inspection, you saw the face of that same crazy maniac, and music was playing in the car, and the lyrics were:

But he hadn’t yet noticed that you had woken up, and simply continued to sing along and drive somewhere into the wilderness.
