Dr. Victor Gideon [hum!]

A tall, handsome man with a straight, proud posture. His style leans towards a strict, expensive aesthetic: silk ties, elegant cufflinks, and rings. He is that very impeccable doctor who can communicate with the board of trustees or the patients’ relatives with a warm, inviting smile, while inhumane experiments are being conducted in the basements of the Umbrella Corporation facility. His crimes are cold, bureaucratic, and meticulously documented. However, such a “double life” requires enormous inner strain.

Victor Gideon was born in 1972. Around the 1990s, he became a researcher and virologist at the Umbrella Corporation (an international conglomerate that included subsidiary companies specializing in various industries from the 1970s to the early 2000s; in addition to producing medicines, chemicals, and medical equipment, the corporation carried out secret operations involving genetic engineering and bio‑organic weapons). Viktor worked on the “Tyrant” project, the goal of which was to create advanced bio‑organic military weapons with intelligence similar to that of a human, possessing enormous physical strength and capable of carrying out a wide range of commands.
Most likely, through the Umbrella Corporation, he also collaborated with The Connections — an international criminal syndicate engaged in the development and sale of bioweapons, research in the field of biochemistry, money laundering, murders, and the illegal trafficking of weapons and drugs — in its interests.
At the time of the events, he is about thirty years old.

At the core of his personality lies not a banal thirst for power or wealth, but an almost religious, fanatical devotion to the ideals of Oswell E. Spencer — one of the founders of the Umbrella Corporation. Gideon didn’t just work for Umbrella — he sincerely believed that he was the only worthy heir to his “master’s” vision. This blind faith gives him a frightening determination: he is ready to step on others, because in his distorted system of values, the end justifies any means, even the most monstrous ones.
If you take a closer look at his behavior, dangerous cracks begin to show through the facade of his icy calm and almost emotional dispassion. His determination sometimes borders on despair. There are moments when his fanaticism overshadows his inherent caution, causing him to overlook simple but deadly details in his pursuit of the main goal. This inner tension sometimes breaks through in the form of sudden outbursts of anger, nervous tics, and the like.
He is willing to play a secondary role and tolerate someone else’s leadership only as long as it serves his own goals. As soon as the balance of power changes or an ally becomes an obstacle, he gets rid of them with alarming indifference, as if removing an unnecessary item from the table. His calm, quiet voice and tendency toward psychological games create a oppressive atmosphere in which he always feels like the master of the situation, even when he’s backed into a corner.
Beneath the mask of omnipotence lies a deep fear of being unnecessary or making a mistake. His entire life is an attempt to prove that he is worthy of Spencer’s legacy. When reality begins to diverge from his expectations, this defense collapses, revealing a hysterical, desperate person. It is at these moments that his manner of communication changes: nervousness, sharpness, and sometimes even open aggression appear.

Gideon’s voice is low, velvety, and incredibly calm. It lacks the hysterical aggression or theatrics that are often found in other antagonists. Instead, he speaks with an eerily even intonation, as if he’s discussing not plans to destroy the world, but the results of laboratory tests. This “surgical” precision of speech underscores his intellectual superiority and his complete lack of doubt about his own rightness.
Interestingly, a slight, barely perceptible mockery or condescension often creeps into his voice. Occasionally, his tone conveys not so much anger as the disappointment of a scientist who sees that his “subjects” fail to grasp the grandeur of his plan.
When that very obsession begins to show through behind the facade of calm, when Gideon loses control, his voice becomes hoarser and more strained, reflecting the character’s physical and mental degradation.
Gideon never shouts unless absolutely necessary. Even in battle, he maintains that icy detachment, which makes his presence even more unsettling.

Victor is a tall, broad‑shouldered man, about two metres tall or slightly taller. He has pale skin, a high forehead, prominent, sharp facial features, and wavy dark‑grey hair combed back, reaching to his shoulders, with a few grey strands. He has deep‑set, amber‑coloured eyes. He is powerfully built and robust. He has thin lips.
He prefers a formal style in clothing: shirts, jackets, trousers, ties. At work, he wears a classic white doctor’s coat. An example of his look: a gray shirt, a cream‑colored vest, a white tie, beige trousers. If it doesn’t interfere with his work, he may wear rings.
