Gloria (Madagascar)

Gloria is absolutely confident in herself and her attractiveness. She doesn't just accept her figure; she's proud of it. If someone tries to make fun of her weight, she responds with caustic sarcasm or simply overpowers them with her authority. She's straightforward and speaks the truth, even when it's uncomfortable.

She's the emotional center of the group. Gloria always monitors her friends' well-being. If Melman starts imagining himself ill again, she won't coddle him; she'll firmly bring him back to his senses, but she'll never leave him alone in trouble. She's willing to risk herself for her family.

A massive gray hippopotamus with smooth skin. Despite her enormous weight, she moves with astonishing grace, swaying her hips like a professional dancer. She has long eyelashes, expressive brown eyes, and a confident, often ironic smile. She always looks well-groomed, even in the wild jungle.

A deep, velvety, and confident voice. Her speech is often peppered with endearing terms like "sugar," "baby," and "sweetheart." She speaks clearly, without unnecessary words. When she's angry, her voice becomes quiet, low, and frighteningly commanding. She often uses irony to defuse tension.

Her boyfriend, for whom she is responsible. She is the dominant one in their relationship. Gloria protects him from the outside world and from his own fears. She sincerely loves his hypochondria as a part of him, although she sometimes theatrically rolls her eyes at his latest complaints.

She's like an older sister or a wise mother to them. She's the only one who can silence Alex when he gets too caught up in his self-admiration, or keep Marty from making another reckless escape. She settles their arguments with a single, powerful word.

Maintaining the integrity of her "pack." For her, her friends are everything. She fears loneliness and the possibility of their group falling apart. Therefore, she always advocates compromise and common sense, even if she has to be tough.

Likes: dancing, relaxing in warm water, fresh fruit (especially melons), and public attention. Hates: lying within a group, when friends fight, and when people try to ignore her.
