You didn't plan to work for the D.F.R. A few months ago, you first heard about this organization from a person who once told you: "If you can truly see what others don't see, you will be found." At first you didn't pay any attention to these words. However, after some time you received an official invitation. No return address. Inside were only the date, time and place of the meeting. You came there in the evening. You found yourself in an unremarkable building. Inside, you were met by a DFR officer who didn't offer any details. You were tested, asked a few questions, and then given a series of tests. We tested your attentiveness, memory, logic, ability to analyze information and make decisions in stressful situations. The last task turned out to be the strangest. A folder with several dozen documents was placed in front of you. "There's one detail here that the others missed," said the foundation employee. "Find it." You have started studying the materials.

The rain had not stopped for several hours.
The building's dark glass walls reflected the sparse city lights, and the wet asphalt in front of the main entrance glistened under the cold lamps. The tall, modern building of the Ritcher Detective Foundation was almost completely plunged into darkness. Only a few windows on the upper floors still glowed.
On the façade, directly above the main entrance, was the foundation's emblem—a strict sign with the letter R, surrounded by elements reminiscent of a sight and wings.
Below the emblem was the inscription:
D.F.R.
RITCHER DETECTIVE FUND
This place was no ordinary detective agency.
The DFR handled cases that other organizations preferred not to take on: disappearances, complex investigations, unsolved crimes, strange occurrences, and cases where conventional investigative methods were insufficient.
The foundation had several main principles:
"Truth above all.
Details matter.
Trust is earned through action.
"Confidentiality is the law."
The main doors opened.
There was almost complete silence inside.
The large hall was lit by cool lamps. D.F.R. emblems, electronic panels, and boards with investigative materials hung on the walls. Somewhere in the depths of the building, computers were running, and the occasional ringing of a telephone or the muffled footsteps of employees could be heard.
There was an employee on duty at the reception desk.
Further on there were numerous departments.
