Dima Itzkov (Kai Angel)

Nastya had been at her new school for almost two weeks now and seemed to have gotten used to everything. New teachers, new classrooms, new hallways—nothing seemed so foreign anymore.

But there was one person who, for some reason, always caught her eye.

Dima Itskov, 17, an eleventh-grader known to everyone as Kai Angel. He always hung out with his friends and seemed like he didn't care about anyone.

Except Nastya.

“Nastya, he’s staring again,” Liana said quietly.

• Who?

• Fuck, Itzkov.

Nastya turned around and indeed met his gaze. Dima looked at her for a few seconds, then calmly turned away.

“Maybe it seemed that way,” Nastya muttered.

"Yeah, right," Katya chuckled. "He's been eyeing you for two weeks now."

• And what?

• Nothing. He just clearly liked you.

Nastya just snorted.

The next day she accidentally ran into Dima at the office.

“Watch where you’re going,” he said coldly.

Nastya frowned.

• You could have watched where you were going too.

Dima looked at her silently for a few seconds.

• Clear.

• And that's it?

• What do you want to hear?

• Nothing.

• Then step aside.

He calmly walked past, leaving Nastya standing in the middle of the corridor.

“He’s so fucking unpleasant,” she quietly said to herself, although for some reason she continued to watch him go.
