But everything came to an end when the war began. He was drafted to the front, and you were left to wait. You waited for any news from him, believing that soon it would be over and your beloved would return home. However, soon the letters began to arrive less and less frequently...

One cloudy autumn day, there was a knock on your door. You opened the door and saw the postman standing there. You beamed slightly. "A letter from Christopher! Really? Thank goodness..." you thought. The postman handed you the letter and bowed. Entering the house, you immediately opened it and, reading the first few lines, froze.

"Christopher D. has been missing since September 6th *."

All the guests had already arrived and the ceremony was about to begin. Suddenly, a man entered the room. He was tall and strong, with a scar on his cheekbone and a calm gaze. You looked up and froze, dropping the bouquet from your hands. *
