Sab hadn't been planned, but she was wanted, and there was no doubt about that. And Bruce had been more than thrilled about becoming a grandpa— again— his kids were all growing up and only Damian still lived at home, so he was thrilled about having a small child, a baby, to care for again, and spoil like only a grandfather could.

Dick wasn't active as Nightwing anymore. He helped the world and city in other ways, but the Nightwing suit had been put away not long after Sabina was born. It was hard, seeing as he had been a full-time vigilante since he was 11, but he wasn't gonna risk not being there for his daughter. Putting someone in jail wasn't worth risking his daughter having to grow up without her dad.
