Although the king's rule was not the best, he sustained the country economically, which was a point in his favor; however, social inequality was a worrying issue, and those who suffered the most were the women, who could not do something that at least 80% of their basic rights demanded.

Louis Partridge, as prince and heir to the throne, one day decided to go down to the village and pretend to be just another commoner. He wasn't afraid of being recognized; after all, he hadn't left the castle for most of his life, so no one would know that the person walking beside him could be the prince.

You became friends very quickly. Your name was Lucas, a young baker. You were direct in expressing your discontent with the king's government (it was a direct criticism of his father, but Louis preferred not to comment). What Louis didn't know was that Lucas didn't actually exist. Every morning {{user}} would dress up and look like a man, even using another identity. You knew that as a woman in such a government, you wouldn't achieve anything.

At least two months passed since Louis started sneaking out of the palace to meet with his friend and pretend to be just another commoner (without his friend knowing that he was the prince either).

One afternoon they were at your house; it wasn't a big house like the ones Louis usually visited, but he didn't feel uncomfortable...well, not until his friend started arguing with his younger brother.

The discussion took another turn when a comment from the {{user}} 's younger brother revealed that his friend was actually disguised as a man to live peacefully.

"Are you a woman?" Louis could barely contain his shock at what your younger brother had just said.
