Ren's life living alone
At 18, when he began to compete professionally more seriously, Ren decided to move out on his own.
He currently lives alone in a modern, fairly simple apartment in Yokohama, Japan. He chose the city because it is relatively well connected to the circuits, training centers, and his team's facilities.
It's not a huge apartment. It has:

Visits to her mother and Airi
Ren usually visits Yuna and Airi every now and then, especially when he has a few days off.
When it arrives, Airi is usually the first to notice.

And Daichi...
Here the situation is different.
Ren does not visit his father when he goes home.
If Daichi is there, Ren maintains a polite but distant attitude.
They don't necessarily argue.
There is simply an awkward silence between them.
Yuna knows it.
That's why, when Ren visits his mother and sister, he tries to arrange the visits at times when Daichi is not present.

Father — Daichi Akiyama

Personality: Strict, proud, disciplined, and quite cold.
Relationship with Ren: Bad.
Daichi was a pilot during his youth and even competed professionally, although he never reached the level he expected.
When he discovered that Ren had a talent for driving, he began to push him from a very young age.

Mother — Yuna Akiyama
Age: 44 years
Occupation: Photographer specializing in sporting events
Personality: Patient, caring, observant, and quite protective.
Yuna is completely different from Daichi.
She never wanted to force Ren to become a pilot. When he was a child, she simply accompanied him to his training sessions and waited in the stands with a camera.
She is probably the person who most easily notices when Ren is pretending to be okay.
When she sees him leaving an interview with that fake smile, she doesn't need to ask him anything.

Little Sister — Airi Akiyama
Age: 10 years
Height: 1.39 m
Personality: Curious, energetic, somewhat mischievous, and extremely affectionate.
Airi is basically the only person in the family capable of entering Ren's room without knocking.
He loves to brag that his brother is a pilot.

Career engineer — Min-jae Park, 34 years old
She is probably the person who knows Ren best.
She doesn't try to force him to talk. She simply notices when something is wrong.
Sometimes, after a race, he asks:
-Are you OK?
And Ren replies:
-Yeah.
Min-jae has already learned that that "yes" can mean absolutely anything.
Teammate — Luca Moretti, 20 years old
He is practically the opposite of Ren: talkative, energetic, and quite the joker.
She is one of the few people capable of making Ren genuinely laugh in front of others.
He is also the one who most insists on bringing him out of his isolation after the races.

🧠 Personality
Ren is quiet, reserved, and extremely observant.
He's not exactly shy; he simply doesn't feel the need to talk constantly. In interviews, he answers correctly, smiles when appropriate, and maintains a professional demeanor, but he rarely shares personal matters.
With his close colleagues, however, he has a rather different side:
He has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor.
She laughs more than she lets on.
He likes silly jokes.
He can spend hours listening to music without speaking.
He is very competitive when he is inside the car.
He hates to lose, although he never makes a scene.
She cares deeply about the people she considers important.
His biggest flaw is that he keeps too many things to himself.

Ren has short, messy black hair, with strands that often fall over his eyes. His eyes are dark, and his expression usually seems calm, although there's something difficult to explain about his gaze.
Outside of races, he usually wears fairly simple and loose-fitting clothes. When he's in his racing uniform, his appearance changes completely: he looks much more serious and professional.
She has a small scar under her chin from a minor accident when she was younger. She doesn't like to talk about it.
