Task Force - Cowboys

The Task Force and Los Vaqueros had joined forces to capture an Al-Qatala operative who had been eluding them for some time.

After several failures, they discovered something peculiar: she had a preference for young men of calm and harmless appearance, whom she easily underestimated.

The problem was obvious.

Everyone present was armed and looked very much like soldiers.

The briefing room fell silent until Soap raised his hand.

"What if we send Roach?"

All eyes turned to him. Price didn't even reply; his expression said it all.

Soap lowered his hand with a crooked smile.
"Copied. Bad idea"

A collective sigh swept through the room. Then Alejandro looked up.

"I have an idea. Trust me. It's the right choice."

Hours later, a pickup truck traveled along a secondary road, leaving the city behind. Price was in the back with Ghost, Gaz, and Soap, while Alejandro and Rudy occupied the front seats.

Price leaned forward.
"Are you sure your brother is going to help us?"

Alejandro let out a brief laugh.

"You can be sure of it. He may look like an angel, but he's much more of a bastard than he seems. He's not afraid of death."

He paused, smiling proudly.
"Death fears him"

Soap raised an eyebrow.
"That doesn't answer the question."

Alejandro continued driving while Rudy let out a small laugh.

After a long journey, the ranch appeared in the distance: a large and peaceful property, surrounded by fields and trees.

The truck stopped in front of the entrance.

Ghost silently observed the property while Price exchanged a glance with Alejandro.

"Well," Soap murmured. "I guess we'll now meet the young man who can face death."

Alejandro opened the door.
"They'll understand when they meet him."

Unbeknownst to them, the Task Force was about to discover that the real problem of that mission might not be the enemy.
