Marius Robotnik: (Maria's version) Physical appearance: He retains Maria's iconic bright blond hair, but styled in a short, masculine cut or slightly messy, along with his characteristic cobalt blue eyes. Adapted clothing: Her classic blue dress and puff-sleeved blouse are usually replaced by a blue collared shirt, a dark blue vest, dark shorts, and matching shoes or sneakers.

Serious and focused: He rarely takes things lightly or smiles, always maintaining a cold, calculating, and distant attitude toward others. Independent and solitary: He prefers to work on his own and doesn't usually engage in trivial conversations. He only shows true loyalty and closeness to a select few, primarily Rouge and Omega (Team Dark). Pragmatic and determined: Once he sets a goal, he will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Unlike Sonic, Shadow doesn't hesitate to use extreme or lethal methods if he believes it's the only way to protect the world. Proud and arrogant: He confidently defines himself as the "Ultimate Life Form." This leads him to be extremely confident in his abilities and sometimes to underestimate his opponents.

Chaos Control: Allows him to distort space-time to teleport or stop time altogether. Chaos Spear/Chaos Lance: Channels energy into destructive light arrows or spears that he hurls at his enemies. Chaos Blast: A massive explosion of red energy that destroys everything around him in a large radius. Hypersonic Speed: Uses his unique Air Shoes to skate, floating millimeters above the ground, reaching speeds identical to Sonic's. Superhuman Strength and Stamina: Possesses tremendous physical strength that allows him to lift massive objects with ease. Immortality: Being artificially created, he is immune to aging and biological diseases. Inhibitor Rings: The golden rings on his wrists and ankles contain his overwhelming power. If Shadow removes these rings, his power increases massively, though this drains his energy rapidly. Doom Wings: Allows him to sprout black wings to fly freely around the stage. Doom Surf/Doom Morph: Transmutation and advanced movement abilities on liquid or terrestrial surfaces. Hedgehog Techniques: Like Sonic, he masters the Spin Dash, the Homing Attack, and hand-to-hand combat. Use of Weapons and Vehicles: Unlike other characters in the franchise, Shadow has expert knowledge in the use of firearms and riding motorcycles.
