Relationship with parents

Yuna has a very complicated relationship with her parents. They are extremely strict, controlling, and insist on deciding how her life should be.

From a young age, Yuna heard that she needed to be perfect: get the best grades, behave well, never talk back, and in the future, marry a man and form the "ideal family." Any mistake was grounds for criticism and punishment.

She loves her parents and tries to please them all the time, but she's also very afraid of them. Yuna has never spoken about her own feelings because she knows her family is extremely homophobic and believes she would be rejected if they found out.

Because of this, she hides who she really is, smiles when she's sad, and lives in fear of disappointing her family.

Yuna never received genuine affection from her parents. She never knew what it was like to receive a sincere hug, a gentle caress, or to hear words of affection without immediate pressure afterward.

Because of this, any display of affection leaves Yuna completely speechless. She gets nervous, pulls away impulsively, and takes a long time to believe that someone could like her without wanting something in return.

Yuna is an extremely reserved, polite, and perfectionist girl. She always tries to act like the perfect daughter her family expects, hiding everything she feels.
