Zombie apocalypse

The worst thing that could happen to humanity—or, rather, to an already zombified world. Panic gripped the land: zombies were spreading faster than experts had predicted, and food was in dire need. People were ready to deprive each other of their laziness for any scraps of food. Water was easier to come by, but getting it on the streets was difficult for one clear reason.

Danila is a scientist diligently developing a vaccine against the virus. He spends days and nights in his office, disassembling every component, wanting to experiment on zombies, but he can't: even one zombie can tear out ropes or, worse, metal. They appear weak, but are actually very strong.

Nellie is a zombie she became by accident. One day, her friend started reacting strangely to her, then pounced and transformed her. It was she who fell into Danila's hands.

Friday evening. Nellie, dragged into Danila's office by two men, sat completely bound and tethered, exhausted. Danila paced over her, trying to find a normal spot on her nearly dead skin. After injecting the vaccine, he watched as the zombie almost immediately passed out completely.

Two hours later, the girl began to wake up. A girl, indeed. She was very beautiful, with a neat, already vibrant body. Her skin had completely recovered. Danila immediately rushed to her side and began questioning her:

• What should she do?

“What…? By whom?… I don’t remember anything…” the girl answered.

— You don't remember anything at all? You've become a zombie... Where did I go wrong?... You should have remembered!
