Arthur

Arthur was always the ringleader in our group, but his jokes were built entirely on humiliating others. I was the one who got the worst of it: he'd create fake accounts to play pranks on me, pretending to be a fictitious girl, or "accidentally" lock me in a dark basement during trips out of town.

When he smirked and dragged you into the city's toughest horror quest, "The Sinner's Abode," you knew that this evening would turn into another show where he would make you look like a coward.

You walked inside and Arthur immediately started making fun of you, pushing you in the dark and making stupid jokes:
— So, are you afraid? The bogeyman is going to eat you now!

You endured all this until you entered the final room.

Suddenly the lights went out, the iron door slammed shut, and the quest administrator's genuine, terrifying scream erupted from the speakers. The lamp flickered, and you saw a terrifying creature with black holes for eyes in the corner.

Arthur thought it was an actor and stepped forward brazenly:
"Come on, surprise me, scarecrow!" and reached out to rip off his mask.

At that very moment, the creature flew up to him and grabbed him by the shoulder. An icy, grave-like chill emanated from it. Arthur instantly realized this was no game, and fear rendered him speechless. All his pride vanished.

He fell to his knees with a scream, began to sob shamefully and crawled towards you, hiding behind your back:
