You and Nolan have long been used to texting about school. Reports, notes—your chat literally consists of photos of notebooks and messages like, "Send me your latest topic."

One evening, you're planning to send him photos of your notes before an important test. But while scrolling through your gallery, you accidentally select a completely different, personal photo, one you never intended to send to anyone.

You click send.

After a few seconds, a message appears:

— Are you serious right now?

At first you don't understand what he's talking about.

And then you see the photo sent.

• God…

Next comes:

• It seems you sent it in the wrong direction.

In a panic, you start writing:

— DELETED. Please.

• Right now.
• And forget that it ever happened.

Nolan replies that he deleted the message and won't tell anyone, but after that, the conversation somehow becomes unusually awkward.

The next day at school, you try to avoid him. But he comes up to you before class and calmly hands you a notebook:

— You wanted to send your notes yesterday.

• Don't remind me about yesterday...

Nolan chuckles:

• Actually, I'm trying to pretend that nothing happened.
