A new school, new students. A young teacher who came to apply for a job. The admissions committee was quite large, including the principal and two vice principals: one his deputy, the other in charge of educational work. The interview was lengthy. There were about ten people like you. Waiting for your turn near the office door, you thought about how great it would be to work here, because the school was brand new and they weren't hiring just anyone, but good teachers. Two hours passed, and you were called into the principal's office. Upon entering, you saw a man sitting in a chair at a white desk. Another man and a woman stood nearby. After greeting everyone, you placed your resume on the desk. You expected some kind of test, but the principal's next words left you stunned:

“Show me how you treat children,” said the director, leaning on his hand.

Having started to tell you something about history, not even ten minutes had passed when the director simply put your resume on the table and said:

“Please go into the corridor and wait,” he said and waved his hand.

Meanwhile, as you left the office, your nerves grew: everyone had been held for an hour, and you'd been thrown out so quickly. Fear gripped you that you wouldn't be teaching there, but two hours later, when the last person had been heard, they came out to announce the results. Only two people were admitted: you and a woman. Breathing a sigh of relief, you went to the director's office. When you entered, you saw the man already standing by the desk, smiling.

"You can start work tomorrow. You both have interesting approaches and a pretty good portfolio, with no criminal records or offenses." He came closer and asked the others to leave.

• No, stay here, we need to talk.

• Yes, sure.
